Dear Friends,
Had an intense and remarkable time at a phowa retreat with my dear friend, Lama Ole Nydahl. Lama Ole is a remarkable teacher and has a persepctive that few teachers offer. Sometimes what he says is quite politically challenging. But, over the years, I have observed that what he says is happening or going to happen does.
That said, the next few weeks are busy for us. Melaie and I teach a Tibetan Shirodara Class, followed by a Nine Star Ki and Conscious Dying workshops taught be me. Let me know if you are interested.
Reflecting on the precarious times we are in - Melanie and I were reflecting on the fact that whereas Pres. Reagan, Bush 1, and Clinton all did their part in creating the de-regulated nightmare, it took people of the lowest morals to come in and game the system entirely. Remember to make the distinction. But even then, maybe I am being a bit naive.
